Every step counts…

We choose sobriety for many different reasons. For some people, it is simply to be healthier and some finally found themselves. Sobriety is a personal decision but can be seen negatively in different cultures, especially in our divided society. We are here to say it’s okay to have courage to not drink in typical communities who see drinking as a right of passage.

As the owner, serving in the military, I personally know drinking is a way of life but for some we get too close to the edge; all it takes is one push. Whether it is escaping the daily grind at work or childhood trauma, they say drinking is a temporary form of suicide.

We designed this gear to start a conversation about our personal stories or support others who have lost someone to drinking or suicide. I have personally lost too many friends and family to both. We want to continue the Semicolon Project as a message to keep going and turn our personal stories into a path to help others.
